Save Our Ocean! I sea I care By Rhiannon Vicka Nicholas

This term 3/4W’s inquiry unit is called ‘ I sea I care’

We have been discovering how plastic has affected the ocean , and what harm it has done. We have been watching several videos on:

  • Micro plastics
  • Marine wildlife
  • Ocean of truth
  • Plastic oceans

Marine wildlife and sea birds have mistaken plastic for food.  They have also choked on plastic and been caught in fishing nets.

Would you like to be a marine animal who gets choked by plastic?

What changes can you make to save the ocean?

  1. Dear 3/4W
A change that can be done to save the ocean could be to reuse reduce recycle. Also I would not like to be choked by plastic. I am really enjoying watching videos about the ocean, I never knew so much about it. Also great job on this post Vicka and Nicholas and Me!

    From Rhiannon 🙂 😉 🙁

  2. Dear 3/4W,
I think a good way to help would be to stop using so much plastic in the first place. I would definitely not want to be a dying animal. 😮

  5. Dear 3/4W,
what’s your favourite sea animal? Now, imagine it swimming in the oily sea. Eating every single micro plastic that it passes. Will you help save the ocean and that poor sea animal?
    From Angel

    • Dear Angel,

I agree, swimming in a oily sea would be disgusting! And insyead of finding sea shells you might find shoes instead!
